Within those links you will find links to all of my posts and they are organized by a category, then within that, each story or idea, then the order I intend them to be read in. Fabulous Books

Obviously, I love books henceforth, I read a lot of them. So, here are some of my favorites that I own or can think of:

The Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling (Duh)

Gail Carson Levine's Ella Enchanted
If you've ever seen the movie, you won't find it in the book. They made the movie very different from the sweet original story and honestly, I was kind of disappointed. Though the movie was entertaining, I wanted to see the book.

Mara Daughter of the Nile by Eloise Jarvis McGraw
(I'm unofficially claiming the movie rights to this book! You touch it, you die!)
An amazing adventure that I just love!

Peeling the Onion by Wendy Orr
A very touching book about growth and dealing with pain.

The Pendragon Series by D.J. MacHale
This is a real trip. You will be on the edge of your seat, or quig. :) Take a look!

The Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer
Twilight remains my favorite because of its wonderful display of the tenderness and trials of first love. In my opinion it really isn't about vampires, that's just a detail or complication.
Also, you might find similarities of this series in my Michael and Nicole story. Funny thing is, I wrote it before I read them, the main part of it at least: Michael and Nicole. It was when I showed my writing to a friend that she said it was similar to Twilight and that I'd like them. This was about the time the second one, New Moon Breaking Dawn was released. had just come out. I also had finished everything I had done on that project before

Beastly by Alex Flinn
A modern take on Beauty and the Beast, with a few interesting twists. Set in New York with high school students.

Kissed by an Angel, The Power of Love, and Soulmates by Elizabeth Chandler
The three books of that trilogy. Very suspenseful and captivating.

The Host by Stephenie Meyer
Never expected to like a Sci-Fi, but I gave it a shot and loved it.

Wicked Lovely, Ink Exchange, and Fragile Eternity by Melissa Marr
A world of Fairies, but not the typical one you'd expect. I am anxiously awaiting the next in the series Radiant Shadows released April 20th, 2010.

The Immortals Series by Alyson Noel: Evermore, Blue Moon, Shadowland, and Dark Flame which is coming out June 22.
No, they aren't vampires.

Impossible by Nancy Werlin

Radiant Darkness by Emily Whitman
A twist on the mythological tale of Persephone. A liked this version. :D

Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
Just recently fell in love with this story. A wolf and a girl. Lovely. Linger being released July 20th.

And my newest one Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
I am horrified that I have to wait 'til November for this one. Fallen angels and a tricky romance. Right up my ally, thank you.

Eternal by Cynthia Leitich Smith
Just devoured this book the other evening. (Yes, the whole thing in one evening. Don't ask, because I don't know.) It was not what I had expected when I picked it up and read the back. It was intriguing enough that I kept going. So I have to read one that came before it, set in the same world but about different characters. It is called Tantalize. Then the two stories are supposed to cross in Blessed, which isn't supposed to come out until next year! *sniffles*

THEN the evening's of March 14 and 15 and dove into Fallen by Lauren Kate. I was somewhat surprised by how much I loved it. Torment will be released this Autumn. *dies*

June 5th and 6th finally got into another one. Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. Currently in progress of making it to the big screen, I had to check it out out of curiosity. Despite the few instances of TMI it was very very very good. Hence, it made my list. :D Not like my love for animals, romance, scandals, cute old men, danger, or even cuter youngsters that will be played by Robert Pattinson had ANYTHING to do with it. ;) Easily could be a well done movie, if they have the decency to leave out those few instances I mentioned before. Not a kiddie novel...no no, nor a teen one. If you're of age it is quite a good read.

Have I mentioned how much I hate waiting? Hate it. Which is why I don't do it to you guys. As soon as something's written I post it. :D See, aren't I nice? Whenever there is a lack of posts it's because I don't have anything for you yet! That and my sever lack of time to devote to myself and my fun. :D (Selfish Katelyn!)

A note on books: Don't ever look at age group before you open a book. (Unless if you're checking it's too old for you and you are under 18) Never let intended age group make you put one down. It usually doesn't matter the colorfulness(like BIG words that scare you) of the language used to tell the story, the story might still be very good.
