Dream Ravine

Okay so this will more than likely be rather confusing since it was half of a conversation. But this was a dream I had (HONEST) to all of the details that I thought was pretty awesome. I'm too lazy right now and really don't have the time to make it all pretty for you guys. If it's too annoying let me know and I'll get it fixed up when I can, but for now, enjoy.

So i think i was in europe somewhere and like on a school trip of somesort...we went either up to the hills or to the mountains and were like camping sort of...>.> i think they were cabin-like
Katsie1709 (7:44:18 PM): so we were looking at things and were seeing a beautiful ravine...but crazy high
Katsie1709 (7:44:34 PM): just sooo green like light light green and pretty
Katsie1709 (7:45:29 PM): there was a guy with me that was like my friend and i would talk with him while we looked at the stuff...but there was something odd about him...it's almost like i was watching it from third point perspective..so i knew he was doing something kind of suspicious by being there
Katsie1709 (7:45:45 PM): but the me that it was happening to didn't
Katsie1709 (7:46:27 PM): so this other guy shows up that the friend person knows and they are suddenly watching me from a distance and the friend goes "It's her isn't it?" and the other has his hands behind his back and nods.
Katsie1709 (7:47:18 PM): now i'm not exactly sure how it happened but i meet the other guy and something happens that i'm suddenly leaving with him and am very happy about it
Katsie1709 (7:48:10 PM): it's like the last day of the trip and everyone is packing but I pack faster and for the life of me i could not find my toothbrush and toothpaste but i was too happy to be that discouraged about it he said he'd get me a new one, so i leave before all of them with him
Katsie1709 (7:48:41 PM): (if you're wondering I'm not really sure what he looks like it was never clear)
Katsie1709 (7:49:32 PM): so he takes me back to that ravine and takes me down through paths that go in and out of it...and it's even more beautiful than the first time. it's more green and there are flowers and tons of tiny waterfalls falling all around.
Katsie1709 (7:50:14 PM): there are also a bunch of like little buildings built into the cliff faces
Katsie1709 (7:50:28 PM): there are people every where but there is something different about them
Katsie1709 (7:50:53 PM): he then takes me to the other side of the ravine and on top of it is a wonderful like...castle but a modern type.
Katsie1709 (7:51:18 PM): it's mostly white ish and really really pretty
Katsie1709 (7:51:53 PM): there he tells me that they are basically the same as humans just with magical properties...almost elfish but not really
Katsie1709 (7:52:56 PM): But there is a problem....the magical part of them has been dying out for the past century or so since most of them live generally among humans there has been a sorta cross breeding but it's not like it really is that much.
Katsie1709 (7:53:03 PM): just like...loss of a gene
Katsie1709 (7:53:22 PM): He is the last pureblooded of them and is the king
Katsie1709 (7:54:34 PM): he is really old but looks my age...it's like time froze for him even though he aged slower any way but how much he wasn't aging was to the extreme and here is why
Katsie1709 (7:55:47 PM): there was a legend or prophecy of some sort that there was a human that had like...dormant magical properties i guess and could produce a pureblood or the closest thing to it....they need the magic in their royal family for them all to survive
Katsie1709 (7:56:01 PM): so he was basically having to wait for this person
Katsie1709 (7:56:10 PM): which happens to be me...or the girl i was or whatever
Katsie1709 (7:57:01 PM): so don't ask me how exactly...but somehow i kinda fall for him but not really and i agree to it all and marry him...
Katsie1709 (7:57:27 PM): it's odd cuz we do care about each other, but it's like it's still in those early stages
Katsie1709 (7:57:34 PM): it's just tender not really passionate
Katsie1709 (7:57:40 PM): not kissy kissy all the time
Katsie1709 (7:57:50 PM): so yeah there's like wedding stuff...>.> cough
Katsie1709 (7:58:05 PM): no i do not have graphic dreams! it was just implied!
Katsie1709 (7:58:59 PM): like he takes me into this room and it was all dark and tells me that we both need to want similar things in this room...like all the magic stuff is very linked to emotions and desires
Katsie1709 (7:59:05 PM): and unity kinda
Katsie1709 (7:59:27 PM): so we both wanted lights and vioala it was light in the room
Katsie1709 (7:59:55 PM): it was a mix between candle light and moonlight
Katsie1709 (8:00:20 PM): there was a nice non-suggestive bed with a thin white canopy
Katsie1709 (8:00:24 PM): it was really pretty
Katsie1709 (8:00:37 PM): then i said, "I can't explain it, but I'm not afraid."
Katsie1709 (8:01:11 PM): he smiled and said "They don't want you to be afraid. They want you to be happy, you know."
Katsie1709 (8:01:17 PM): I just smiled
Katsie1709 (8:01:42 PM): it's like all the people didn't want me to be afraid so I wasn't..
Katsie1709 (8:01:49 PM): feelings...unity
Katsie1709 (8:02:07 PM): so yeah it's the "And then..." moment
Katsie1709 (8:02:52 PM): Next I'm off in the left wing of the whole big castle area thing which i guess is like the women's area and the right is the men's
Katsie1709 (8:03:27 PM): so i'm doing something in a room with a bunch of other girls that are like...lower than me i guess but you know still love them etc. we were like...i dunno possibly all making something
Katsie1709 (8:03:46 PM): and this guy comes in and asks for someone and we tell him she's in the shower
Katsie1709 (8:04:03 PM): he knocks on the door and tells her that he wants to see her and then leaves
Katsie1709 (8:04:42 PM): she comes storming out a minute later and runs toward the door still in the towel. she's like a big lady with blonde hair all up in a loose bun with pink pouty lips and calls after him all dirty like...
Katsie1709 (8:04:53 PM): we just laugh and she disappears again
Katsie1709 (8:05:58 PM): then the two other girls in the room ask me if our room is situated and i said it was so one runs off saying she needs to go hang up paintings in it. the other freaks out with her arms full of vases and urns saying she needs to set them up in there before the other girl takes up all of the room.
Katsie1709 (8:06:01 PM): it's cute
Katsie1709 (8:06:07 PM): they were like decorating it for us ^^
Katsie1709 (8:06:12 PM): there was just so much love!
Katsie1709 (8:07:07 PM): so i'm still sitting there and the guy from the beginning that was my friend is sitting there all awkward like cuz it's just the two fo us. i keep working with a smile on my face and then he basically blurts out "You didn't sleep with him did you?"
Katsie1709 (8:07:29 PM): I was very slick and totally dodged the question by distracting him with a different subject.
Katsie1709 (8:07:47 PM): but off to the side i'm kind of sad that it bothers him...cuz he likes me.
Katsie1709 (8:08:10 PM): So it just moves on to something else
Katsie1709 (8:10:21 PM): apparently the king guy had been gone and was coming back. Everyone was really happy and all greeting him. I run out on a balcony and see him and am all "he's back!"
Katsie1709 (8:12:02 PM): then i run back down to like the throne room as he comes in. "You're back!" he comes to me and holds/hugs me and I say "I missed you." all soft like it caused me pain for him to be away. he puts his forehead on mine and says "I missed you too." and sighs like he's completely relieved and we both feel so much better and as a result so does everyone else.
Katsie1709 (8:12:40 PM): he says "You'll have to go with me next time."
Katsie1709 (8:13:17 PM): so then it was next time and we are on our way back and come into view of the castle from a higher cliff on the side and look down on it all happy to be back.
Katsie1709 (8:13:23 PM): and then i woke up...>.>
Katsie1709 (8:14:36 PM): i'm thinking maybe to visit some other kingdom of peoples for business or something of that sort
Katsie1709 (8:15:31 PM): i was still half asleep when i thought of this
Katsie1709 (8:16:00 PM): we get back and it's kind of deserted and quiet and we're are just like ummm...>.> what's going on.
Katsie1709 (8:16:46 PM): then we're attacked! and a bunch of guys grab him and he tells me to run. So i go to the women's wing and close the doors. This guy shows up who apparently took over while we were gone. or was just trying to overthrow the guy.
Katsie1709 (8:17:29 PM): OH! Something I forgot to mention: The King guy is older than everyone. Since he has the most magic the rest of them are basically human so have that lifespan.
Katsie1709 (8:18:03 PM): Okay so the guy like says in his evilness that everything that was the king guys is now his and that includes me.
Katsie1709 (8:18:29 PM): so the put the king guy in a cell and the bad guy tries to get to me and can't get into the girls wing
Katsie1709 (8:18:39 PM): he freaks out saying that he's the king and why can't he get in
Katsie1709 (8:19:16 PM): the big pouty girl i guess is like the mid wife/ caretaker of me kind of lady so she just looks down on him and is all "Because she does not wish it."
Katsie1709 (8:19:32 PM): she the whole building and everything changes to our wishes and desires blah blah
Katsie1709 (8:20:21 PM): so i'm basically in panic mode since they captured the king guy and it's hard to be without him so we are all in like mourning mode sort of.
Katsie1709 (8:20:30 PM): the other guy is still trying to figure a way in
Katsie1709 (8:20:45 PM): and the only person that can go between the two places is the friend guy
Katsie1709 (8:22:02 PM): so one time he goes to see the king in the cell and he is like distraught and kind of going insane a little. he immediately says "How is she? Is she well?" like he knows something is wrong. (we have some sort of connection) and the friend guy tells him that i have been asleep for three days and am feverish and call for him in my sleep.
Katsie1709 (8:22:59 PM): he knows what's going on and hands the guy the last shirt he has on that is all tattered and it is a very cold and damp cell ;__;
Katsie1709 (8:24:30 PM): he pretty much yells at the guy to put his shirt around me and take me to our room. he tells him of a secret passage between the two wings into the room and will only allow him and the pouty lady to take me there and take care of me. He is completely serious and inforcing as he says "You have to take them there immediately or we'll lose them both!"
Katsie1709 (8:25:00 PM): take HER there immediate or we'll lose them both
Katsie1709 (8:25:32 PM): and that's as far as i've gotten....>.>

To Please

I love this one. It's spunky and fierce in a way. Very scary almost, well when you're talking about the main character...her power is really terrifying.

Anyways. This was another one that came to me as a dream. :) I really do love it when that happens. It was too cool to deny. It's a very complicated world and I'd probably confuse you if I tried to explain it. I'm still confused myself.

I had come here during the summer as a girl, but never in this way, I had not seen this side of it or through these eyes. At this moment my eyes were closed, their use was unnecessary. I already knew everything I needed.

They waited for me as I paced back and forth, not missing a stride, not making a sound. Their hearts fluttered as their sweat flowed over their flesh in the white sun, cooling under the dry wind passing around us.

I paused facing forward and several hearts missed a beat breaking the rhythm. I exhaled through my nose then inhaled deeply and I could taste her.

She was there at the front of her lines with a relatively tight guard around her. All thickly coated with fear, especially her.

She wasn't the purpose of this mission, but I wouldn't mind if I killed her in the process. No, she wasn't my target in this battle, but who was, was the most afraid. I pinpointed their heart beating like the wings of a humming bird, and then I was ready.

Head bent and a smile across my lips, I raised my blade and cocked my gun. I opened my eyes and lay them on my enemy. Even from this distance I could see the fear in her eyes. My mouth opened slightly and everything slowed for a moment, everyone’s clothes billowing in slow motion. I did not falter my gaze.

I gave my command, my voice barely above a whisper, “Go.”

Then it began.

My soldiers, his army, rushed forward with a battle cry. They could match a little over half my speed, so I stayed back for a few moments as the two armies barreled down the clearing. I watched them clash with a roar, my soldiers well over the halfway point.

Their job was to make an opening for me to get to the target; I was the only one who could execute the mission. It mattered little if there was an opening before I decided to act. Needless killing was not an activity I supported, but if they were not able to give me a way in the next few moments, the deaths of those in my way would no longer be needless.

I found my target's heart again, beating faster now, cold metal in her hand.

It was then that I caught a glimpse of her through the clashing bodies.

She knelt on the ground, dressed in pink, guarded by only two men, a handgun in her lap.

I no longer had a choice!

I bared my fangs and flew forward, the first person I came across being their leader. Though she could never be as fast or strong as I was, she was able to see me, and stared me down as I came toward her. I slowed as I passed her so she could hear my thought: I do not have time to waste on you.

The insult was clear on her face, twisting in anger as she turned her head, our gazes still locked.

I broke it, slashing out at a female soldier who dared to raise their weapon to me. I did not hear her cry as she fell to the ground coming face to face with death. There was no need for me to hear when I could see and feel every living thing within a hundred miles.

The rest did not know what hit them after I regained full speed, swinging my sword at my right, firing with my left.

I reached the target taking down one of the two men around her by a swift shot to the head.

Many of my comrades lay around her, they had been trying to create a perimeter and all fell to these two men and now only one remained.

I turned my eyes on him letting the full power of my stare fall over and into him. I knew he was taken aback alone by the near white color of my eyes, with a small hint of blue remaining, my slitted pupils did not assist in his comfort either, but it was the power behind them that caused him to back away.  

I turned back to my target to find the barrel of the hand gun placed on the roof of her mouth by her own hand.

I tore it out of her grasp possibly injuring her hand in the process, but it was necessary.

Tears streamed down her face, and I allowed myself to hear just as she spoke.

“No one else is going to die because of me.”

“Ms. Talon, many already have, so do not go taking your own needlessly and making their sacrifices pointless.” I was in no way gentle with my words.

She broke down as she knelt on the ground surrounded by blood shed. I looked at her in her suit and skirt, an important asset to him.

She was not a part of this kind of world, so I sympathized her terror.

She had been kidnapped by this army to try and wound us financially and now they were paying for their mistake, but the mission was complete, the target obtained, so there was no longer need for this.

I called out to my second with my thoughts.

My Lady? He answered.

Another day. I ordered raising Ms. Talon to her feet handing her over to two soldiers who had come to assist me and we retreated.

“Fight me!” the leader hollered at me as I left the battle field never getting close enough for me to strike her, but I halted my hearing, ignoring her, and swiftly continuing on my way.

Ms. Talon would be returned to her rightful place.  

My hair remained up in a ponytail, but with a rose added to it. I had changed out of my war garb and into an almost formal dress that clung and flowed around me. My eyes had returned to their human state of bright blue. To some it was not much different from my non-human ones, but it was enough of a difference to me to not display them here.

A sentry led me through the many doors toward the audience hall.

Now that I had returned to my human state, the high of battle and the blood lust disappeared, and the memories were recalled of how my life had not always been this way.

I was once completely human, young and drunk on first love. So that was why when the one I loved had been gone for some time and then came into my house in the middle of the night and woke me with a kiss, I didn’t question it.
